The brand, Leila Hafzi, came to in Stavanger, Norway in 1997. On the scene of high-end fashion, a new voice was born and the ethical- and eco-conscious trade found a future leading lady. In a sensual, elegant manner, cultures have been explored and environmental issues highlighted.

Leila Hafzi bridal collection is totally recognizable. Her romantic, feminine and bohemian look is combined with an innovative fusion of themes from different cultures drawing inspiration from Norway, Persia, Greece and Nepal. Over the years, Leila Hafzi received national awards by several occasions – in 2007 and 2011 she was appointed ”Designer of the Year” by KK and Costume Awards, the Environmental price of the decade by OFW and the “Fashion for a Cause” price of 2011.

In 2014 Leila Hafzi was awarded the prize for best sustainable fashion brand at HENNE (Her) Nåløyet prize in Oslo.

On the 20th December 2021 LEILA HAFZI receives the well-renowned and prestigious Elle Award Best Sustainable Bridal Gown Brand, organized in cooperation with the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, as a tribute to her long lasting engagement in favour of sustainable fashion.

“Zan Zendegi Azadi (Women, Life, Freedom) is the motto accompanying protests in Iran since september 2022. The barbaric murder of Mahsa Amini, guilty of wearing the chador in the wrong way, showing some strands of hair, sparked the uprising of Iranian women, supported by their fathers, brothers and husbands. The collection is a tribute to the bravery of Iranians and aims at encouraging to fight for freedom of all oppressed people, women and men in Iranian and Afghan and in other countries in the world of today.
Leila continues to draw inspiration from her previous work, using delicate silks and gets inspiration from how the wind and brides movements moves and plays with the fabrics, creating a soft, romantic, chic and playfull atmosphere around each individual style.
